Kristen was named for Daria fan Kristen Bealer, who is nothing like this character except for being female and liking chocolate. Kristen made an appearance in "Scarlett," where she befriended the title character and fought the forces of evil. Kristen's parents turn out to be the two government agents from "The Lawndale File," who also appear in "Scarlett."
