Sour Red has long, straight auburn hair of a slightly lighter shade than Daria's, kept parted in the middle. Her hairs falls to her shoulder blades. She wears a sleeveless blouse (of varying shades of red) and maroon slacks (sometimes shown with stripes) almost the same color as her hair. A necklace with a pendant can also be seen. Her midriff is bare, and on her feet are sandals with straps.
This characters fandom nickname comes from her sour expression when she got her test back from Daria in "Lucky Strike." She is one of a large number of redheads at Lawndale High.

3. Quinn's adoption of a black outfit in "Quinn the Brain" has a powerful effect on how the other fashion-conscious girls at school dress. Sour Red is in the far back, right side, walking toward the right. Note that except for her clothing's colors being changed to black, she's wearing exactly the same outfit as usual.
